St. John the Baptist Church is inviting members of St. John’s UCC (in Smithton) and Smithton First Baptist Church to join in a community prayer service and ice cream social to welcome the new pastor of St. John United Church of Christ! We will gather on Tuesday, August 29, 7 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for a traditional Vespers or Evening Prayer Service, which includes praying several Psalms, a reading from the New Testament and the singing of the Gospel Canticle. All are welcome!
